I'm not entirely sure how you write a biography, I'm not one to really talk about myself! I'm not one for photos especially (unless its posing with things I love like cars & cats).
I'm pretty quiet and reserved around people I don't know really well. Yes, I also fit what I call the moody artist persona! I also am a bit of a new age hippie chic, leaning towards a modern boho style. I may seem like I'm all over the place, but it when it really comes down to it, I'm very serious, hard working, studious and grounded. I'm very loyal. Don't let your first impression of me be your last, I'm a lot more than what I let you see at a glance. I have an odd sense of humour, and I don't always see things how a normal person would see it.
But yeah... I have many odd interests; including that insatiable love for everything Saab cars! I also love... riding motorcycles (I have an endorsement!), CATS (especially Tard the Grumpy Cat!), storm chasing, crafts and DIY projects, rock hounding, nature, all forms of water (and I'm a Metal Monkey), fashion (ok I'm a What Not To Wear addict!), dying my hair (I have no idea its original color), and so much more. I'm trying to ease the social media addiction, although it cannot be helped when it comes to cool things on Etsy and Pinterest, and especially Grumpy Cat photos and inspirational messages. I LOVE business and everything entrepreneurship. I follow Tibetan Buddhism, and I really want to start practicing Yoga!
I am a bit, um, old when it comes to my tastes. I love watching documentaries, certain reality TV shows, and dramas on TV. Some of them have influenced my work, such as my interest in Pompeii history and my Sun Catcher designs. Its weird my favorite thing to watch while working is on storm chasing, and I can still create beautiful amazing work. ?? I see the beauty in Mother Nature, whether peaceful like a pond, or deadly like a tornado. It all is a big mystery, and must be marveled at. I am a Shark Tank addict too. I have learned alot about life and business in such a short time! I wish I could be on their show, but that one amazing idea just hasn't hit me yet! I'm still waiting...
As for my music preferences, I've done my best work while listening to Oldies (50-70s rock). I'm trying my hardest to get modern! I do enjoy the beats of Adele and Lady Gage. I am banned from listening to Van Halen and AC/DC while driving my car, to avoid a repeat incident of ripping the muffler off my car jumping over an intersection. I'll listen to everything from Johnny Cash, to Van Halen, Mumford & Sons, Three Days Grace, Three Dog Night, to 80s-90s country like Joe Diffie and Clint Black. Music has always been a visual portal for me, I enjoy its mix of emotion and excitement.
Yes. Cats. One of the single best moments of my life is when I got to meet Miss Tardar Sauce, aka Grumpy Cat, when she visited Minnesota in 2013!
Tardar Sauce, aka Grumpy Cat, and I hanging out!
I own three of my own very precious cats- Angie, Gracie and Dee Dee. I happily serve them on a daily basis, and they love me for it@
I am also engaged to a very wonderful man! We've been dating since 2000, and have hopes of getting married in the next year or so, when life slows down a little!
Growing up, I studied so many foreign languages and could have been THE interpreter for the UN. Then, I was going to be a police officer until I got sick at 18. Long story short, its funny how things happen, how I eventually found myself getting The Call to be a Healer in my 30s. I still struggle with it some days, because its taking what I don't think I am, and making me do it. I think I'm not a people person, and here I am interacting and helping them on a daily basis! The journey has made me one very unique individual, and someone who's always striving to do their best to please.
You'd never guess I didn't always get good marks in school, particularly in Art, now would you? ;-) I'm not college educated either. I don't think anything beats the real life lessons, what's just outside your door, or sitting on the shelf at your local library.
So there you have it, in a nutshell. Go on, enjoy the rest of my website and have a great day!
